TvN′s Flower Boys Next Door released photos showing Park Shin Hye on set, puckering up in front of the dog that appears in the drama.
The dog appears as Hippo, and is raised by Tae Joon (Kim Jung San). He was picked up by Tae Joon at a park on the day Dok Mi (Park Shin Hye) fell in love with Tae Joon, and the dog comes to receive the love of Dok Mi as she continues to spy on Tae Joon.
When Hippo came under danger in episode 1, Dok Mi ventured outside though she avoids doing so whenever she can help it. She squatted in front of Tae Joon′s front door, calling out, "Are you okay blackie? Blackie~~" This was how she came to be spotted by ′Que Geum′, or Enrique Geum (Yoon Shi Yoon).
According to the producers, Park Shin Hye loves the dog not only in the drama, but also in real life. She won′t let go of the dog, and is always busy having fun with him.
Flower Boys Next Door has been gathering popularity for its first episodes, as its second episode managed to garner viewership ratings of 2 percent and made issues across the web.
