140317 Jeon Ji Hyun talks about her husband Choi Joon Hyuk
In a recent interview, actress Jeon Ji Hyun happily talked about her husband, the non-celebrity banker Choi Joon Hyuk.
In fact, Choi Joon Hyuk is the grandson of hanbok designer Lee Young Hee, the creator and owner of Lee Young Hee Korea Museum in New York City. He is also known as the son of fashion designer Lee Jung Woo and the older brother of singer Choi Joon Ho.
Jeon Ji Hyun revealed, ”One evening, he said we were going somewhere and told me to come with my passport,” and “I followed him; we ended up at the airport, and we immediately left for Japan. In Japan, he asked whether I would marry him along with giving me a ring.”
The actress also shared that she has known her husband since childhood, saying, ”We grew up in the same neighborhood so we knew each other.”
She added, “But we only started a serious relationship after we were officially introduced through an acquaintance a few years ago.”
Jeon Ji Hyun and Choi Joon Hyuk tied their knot at Shilla Hotel in Seoul in 2012.
Regarding her kiss scene with actor Kim Soo Hyun in the hit film “The Thieves,” Jeon Ji Hyun revealed, ”I liked the film”s kiss scene with Kim Soo Hyun,” and “However, my husband disliked it so I have to dislike it too.”
During the interview, the actress also talked about her daily life as a wife and her future plans.
