130529 ‘Gu Family Book’ Closes in on 20 Percent

With no big threat really, MBC’s Gu Family Book is looking into bigger things, thanks to a sudden growth spurt in ratings.

Gu Family Book leaped from 16.4 to 18.2 overnight, possibly due to the blossoming romance between Lee Seung Gi and miss A’s Suzy, as well as the encounter between Lee Seung Gi and his drama father, Choi Jin Hyuk.

18.2 percent is the highest ratings the drama has received yet, and it looks hopeful that Gu Family Book could break into the 20s if it doesn’t lose momentum.
