150119 Clara's side claims the alleged text messages between her and Polaris' chairman were edited
The drama continues for actress Clara and Polaris' Chairman Lee as they go back and forth regarding her claims of sexual harassment and his claims that she was lying to get out of her contract. Most recently, Dispatch released a series of text message exchangesbetween the two that raised eyebrows as they talked frequently and she even sent him pictures from her lingerie shoots.
Regarding this, Clara's side stepped up to claim that 30% of the content was maliciously edited. Attorney Park Young Mohk said on January 19 in an interview with YTN PLUS, "I've confirmed the text message content that was revealed. There's a portion of this that is not true. I'm not sure, but it might be around 30%."
He relayed his beliefs that there was a clear intention when the text messages were reported. Mr. Park said, "It seems like it was written with the goal of tarnishing Clara's image in mind. It has been edited to coincide with Polaris Chairman Lee's claimed order of events as much as possible."
The first evidence is allegedly the dates. Mr. Park stated, "If you look at the report, the exchanged texts are first in June and July, then suddenly skip to September. Then, it again goes back to June; as it goes back and forth, it seems to accord the most in the end with Chairman Lee's claimed sequence. It appears to me there is a malicious side to this."
He then addressed the pictures of Clara in her underwear for the photo shoots. Mr. Park said, "Putting the pictures in the middle to bring emphasis to them is a clear invasion of her privacy and defamation."
Regarding possible legal action against this report, the lawyer said that, while it could be considered invasion of privacy and defamation, they could not think about it at the time, saying they had to focus on the criminal case and could not do anything but react passively to how the opposite party might be attacking them, especially since she, as the celebrity, could receive the biggest blow. It appears Clara's side is currently on the defensive.
With his expectation that this might go on for a while, buckle in and stay on alert for updates
