First introduced by Harry Styles of the British boy band One Direction, the combination of the international heartthrob and Burberry was a match made in heaven. The piece soon became the star’s favorite, as he was seen wearing it on his birthday and the premiere of film “One Direction: This Is Us.”
Soon the Burberry collection captured the hearts of many celebrities, includingVictoria Beckham and Elle Fanning.
Appropriately titled “I Heart Classics,” Burberry presented the lovable collection of heart patterns in February this year. Because of the simplicity in its design and irresistibly charming print, the pieces from the collection are becoming fashion staples worldwide. A selection of warm colors in “deep claret,” “camel” and the deep hues of “navy blue” are perfect for this fall season.
Big Bang‘s resident fashionista G-Dragon introduced the Burberry wave in Korea through the August issue of “Vogue.” Reinterpreting the classical look with a splash of blond and a mohawk, he wears a characteristically flatulent expression as he bites down on a pipe. Wrapped up in another heart patterned scarf, he brings forward a chic fall concept.
Then came the queen of Korean film and drama Song Hye Kyo in “Harper’s Bazaar.” Staying truer to the original classic theme, the actress completed the look with a vintage 1930s hairstyle. Her glossy crimson lips add a touch of modern glamour to her magnetic, siren-like gaze.
With the same knit sweater, the two stars interpreted the look differently: chic and sexy. Who do you think wore it better?
