According to Greece embassy, MBC ‘s popular Korean drama “I Miss You,” whichstars JYJ Yoochun and actress Yoon Eun Hye started airing on Greece television last September 4 at Thessaloniki’s regional channel TV100.
The said TV station, TV100 is broadcasting one of the episode of “I Miss You” set every Wednesday and Friday at exactly 10pm and theirs features two back-to-back episodes every Sunday at 2PM. Thessaloniki is Greece’s second-largest city and TV100 reaches a total of two million TV viewers in the region.
One of the sources on the country stated “It seems this drama is gathering popularity because there are a lot of fans of JYJ in Thessaloniki.”
One of the Korean councilor in he Greece embassyKim Byeong Yeon shared by saying, “This is the result of Hallyu fanclubs, Korean companies, Korean networks, and Greece networks working together since the latter half of last year to bring Korean dramas to Greek television.”
Greece is said not being familiar about Hallyu and this event is very remarkable for the Korean people and Hallyu community to showcase Korean artistry.
