Kim Tae Hee, top actress and Seoul National University alum, is sharing her wealth of knowledge.
On January 25, Hanhwa Life held a ‘Talk Concert with Kim Hae Tee’ where approximately 200 junior high and high school students listened to Kim Tae Hee give advice and tips on studying.
Kim Tae Hee stood before the crowd of students, not as an actress, but as an academic mentor and shared three important tips.
First of the three was to ‘Study at your own pace.’ She shared her own experiences of studying until 2 a.m. and dozing off in the mornings. She advised to the students to find a study time that works for themselves.
Secondly, she shared the phrase ‘Never Give Up.’ She said she liked social studies the least but because she didn’t give up on the subject, she was able to get accepted to the Seoul National University.
Thirdly, she advised that ‘the safest and the most stable career is to do what you love doing the most.’
When asked what her dream was before becoming an actress, she replied “I didn’t really have a dream until I entered college and I feel like I was fated to become an actress.”
She added, “I hope you all choose a career field that comes to you like fate.”
Even after the talk concert was over, the gathered students remained in their seats for more Q & A time with Kim Tae Hee.
