130812 Lee Byung Hun & Lee Min Jung: Details on Wedding, Honeymoon and New Home

Possibly one of this year’s hottest events, the wedding of Lee Min Jung and Lee Byung Hun has left the public fawning over the gorgeous couple as well as starstruck over the dazzling guests. After the wedding was held on August 10, details on the wedding ceremony, the newlywed’s new home and their romantic honeymoon getaway to the Maldives have been reported.

On August 10, Lee Min Jung and Lee Byung Hun stood in front of the press to comment on their union and their future days ahead as husband and wife.

Much attention was brought to Lee Min Jung’s wedding dresses. She wore a total of three dresses on this day. One for the press conference, one for the first part of the wedding and another for the second part.

Veteran actor Shin Young Kyun took part as the officiator of the wedding while Lee Byung Hun’s close friend Lee Bum Soo stood as the MC for part one of the wedding. Part two was emcee-ed by comedian Shin Dong Yup. The first part’s wedding song was performed by Park Jung Hyun while the second part featured a duet by Kim Bum Soo and Park Sun Joo. Hip-hop group Dynamic Duo, who is friends with Lee Min Jung, performed the ending song for the wedding as well.

Around 900 guests attended this no-press wedding including top stars such asJang Dong Gun, Go So Young, Jung Woo Sung, Lee Jung Jae, Kim Seung Woo, Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Tae Hee, Yoo Ji Tae, Kim Hyo Jin, Han Hyo Joo, Han Ga In, Bae Soo Bin, Jin Goo, Suzy, Kim Bum, Shin Ha Gyun and many more.

The beautiful couple will be traveling to the Maldives on August 12 for their honeymoon. Both stars arrived at the Incheon Airport in casual clothing. They closely held hands as they smiled toward the fans and the press. The couple have both selected the Maldives as their ideal honeymoon location, where they will be spending 10 days privately.

After they return from their honeymoon, the Lees will move into Lee Byung Hun’s home in Gwangju City. During the press conference before their wedding, Lee Byung Hun commented, “Our home is located about 40-50 minutes away from Seoul. My mother is living there alone but Lee Min Jung graciously decided to live there with me.”

This place is also where Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung went on a lot of their secret dates together. It is a three-story home that models after an art museum and has a cafe as well as a movie theater built-in inside.

Real estate sources from Gwangju commented, “This home is probably worth around $3 million dollars. Also, since the home is very big, the remodeling costs must have been a lot as well,” and “The location is very good. It only takes around 30 minutes to get to Seoul’s Gangnam district.”

After settling down, the two actors will get right back into work. Lee Byung Hun will start working on his film, “A Touch of Zen” while Lee Min Jung will choose and right into her next project.
